Generally, a rectangular thread turning tool with a blade width smaller than the bottom width of the tooth groove is selected. This method is simple in principle and less programming, but when turning a larger pitch trapezoidal thread, the stability of the tool becomes worse, the cutting groove is deepened, chip removal is difficult, and the cutting speed is lower. The straight cut cutting method has many key links to be grasped in the process of advancing the turning process, and the processing is somewhat difficult.
