Teachers generally embraced the plan and welcomed me into their classrooms. During the first several Sunday School classes in which I participated, I explained to the children that I wanted to learn more about their Sunday School and about their thoughts about God and Jesus. This particular learning objective was not unique to me, but shared by a number of adults at First Baptist Church.
